I'm going with Dame Henrietta Barnet, author of Matters that Matter, for no other reason than I like the idea... and she deserves to be remembered.
Henrietta Finger?
I always have one with my afternoon tea.
Also the possibility that she is a friend or sister named Henrietta who was gifting the book and meant to write a birthday or some other message?Wouldn't an author have signed the note with first and last names unless they were actual friends?
