I haven't. I thought it was about the murder of a gay man, and then I realised I was confusing it (not unreasonably, in my defence) with Rod Stewart's song 'The Killing of Georgie'. Why can't people give their songs and films clearly distinguished titles?
Watch it and the title will make sense.
My favourite trivia fact about this film is that it was financed by the money Robert Aldrich made from The Dirty Dozen.
