This was displayed in Westbourne Grove when he had all of the rats. The smell was just amazing and through the 2weeks that it was there the whole installation slowly decayed. It was so funny seeing all the locals in their high prada heels and expensive clothing walking through all the rat shit.
Well yes,I do have reservations about certain aspects of Banksy, particularly his advocacy of all graffiti, regardless of merit. However, the best of Banksy's art easily negates the worst. When I read that he'd doctored 500 copies of the new Paris Hilton album, I wanted to shake him by the hand.
It's amazing what you find on the Web. I'd never heard of Banksy or Jack Vettriano, which is inexcusable because I'm from Bristol, like Banksy, but I've been away for a while. Vettriano? well, I probably didn't need to know about him. So anyway it was fascinating to find out about this guy. I've bookmarked his website, and your blog. Cheers, Peter
