I feel 1970s interludes lack ambition and production values, though the music is nice.
Perfect!
I think the 1970s ones reflect the strikes, three-day weeks and general feeling of pessimism. The music in this interlude is beautiful, but rather melancholy for a classroom of schoolchildren.
