While we're on the subject of bad art, many thanks to Andrea (who produces very good art) for providing a link to this wonderful 'tribute' to Thomas Kincaid:
Here's a link to the rest of the series.

I always thought of Kincaid's art as arsonist porn.
Kincaid's art is the pits - this should be fun to explore! Thanks for the link!
In a way I feel a bit sorry for Kinkade. If you check with Wikipedia, you'll see that his life was anything but happy. He was a master marketer, who ran some very successful franchises for prints of his work. He was also critiized for making use of Christian organizations and ideals to bilk people. Though his work sold extremely well, and he gave a lot of money to charity, his critics were less than kind. In fact, it's rumored that after his wife left him, his death (from a combination of pills and alcohol) may have been caused due to the despair he felt at a San Francisco review that excoriated his life's work. He died in 2012, at the age of 54.
Oh my goodness! Those are excellent! A definite improvement over the originals.
Oh dear, poor Kincaid. I had no idea.
I actually looked at this picture several times, quickly, it's true, before I noticed anything 'wrong' with it!
