Christmas is a very special time for booksellers when we get to meet lots of people who don't normally visit bookshops...

Customer - Have you got that book about the war?
Me - Which book?
Customer - The one in the paper
Me - Which paper?
Customer - I don't know
Me - Do you know the title?
Customer - I don't think it's got a title

Me - Sorry, we've sold out
Customer - Can you order it in time for Christmas? (asked at 3.00 on Christmas Eve)
