Most of their titles are done in-house, uncredited to any designer, and no wonder. And I don't think they realised what kind of book <EM>Bridget Jones's Diary</EM> was until it spawned all its little imitators.<BR/><BR/>I admit to a weakness, if not now then in the past, for the possessive title. I think it came from the biggie you overlooked: <EM>Foucault's Pendulum</EM>, which I read as an impressionable, pretentious 18 year old and would probably find unreadable now. I actually started actively looking out possessive titles, and came a cropper pretty quickly with <EM>Lempriere's Dictionary</EM>.<BR/><BR/>Tony Parsons had credibility?
